NYK has been promoting D&I for some time, and the Promise is based on the clear commitment of top management following a board of directors resolution.
Ensuring diversity is essential for the NYK Group, which has approximately 35,000 employees worldwide and is involved with a wide range of companies and industries in many countries and regions.
Through the D&I Promise, NYK aims to clarify the Group's stance on D&I. As emphasized through our human resources strategy, set forth in the CX Story ,one of strategies to achieve NYK’s medium-term management plan, "We aim to become a Group that encourages all Group colleagues to bring forth their best to take on challenges."
