Prioritizing investment in decarbonization solutions
NYK has decided to issue its 45th unsecured corporate bonds (transition bonds*) in the Japanese domestic market in July. This will be NYK’s second issuance of transition bonds. The first was in July 2021.
NYK will issue the transition bonds to accelerate ESG management advocated in NYK’s medium-term management plan “Sail Green, Drive Transformations 2026 - A Passion for Planetary Wellbeing -“. Securing various funding resources for decarbonization solutions will help NYK to accelerate its greenhouse gas emission reduction.
