Introducing Wide Range of Solutions to Meet Various Offshore Wind Needs
NYK Line, together with group companies NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd., Japan Marine Science Inc., and Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd., will participate in Wind Expo Spring 2023 at Tokyo Big Sight from March 15 to 17. The NYK Group will be exhibiting for the fourth consecutive year.
At its booth, the NYK Group will make use of panels, videos, and models of offshore wind installation vessel and crew transfer vessel (CTV) to introduce services that meet customer needs in various areas of the offshore wind business.
The expo will be thoroughly implementing measures against COVID-19 following the guidelines of the Japanese government. An area for business meetings will also be provided so that the Group can hear more about customer needs and requests. Please feel free to join us!

NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. operates approximately 45 MPP vessels, two deck carriers, and approximately 110 bulkers. NBP provides ocean transportation service worldwide for variety of cargoes, including project cargoes including offshore wind power components as well as steel materials, and bulk cargo. In the MPP & Heavy Lift vessel division, NBP is the only Japanese carrier operating heavy lifters and deck carriers and NBP received new heavy lifters equipped with 800 tons lifting capacity in 2021 (MV KATORI) and in 2022 (MV KIFUNE) enabling the company to transport High & Heavy cargoes.

For offshore wind power generation projects, the company offers surveys to consider environmental conditions. The NYK Group’s Service Scope for Offshore Wind Power
In 2021, NYK released the NYK Group ESG Story, which aims to further integrate ESG into the company’s management strategy and promote activities that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through business activities. On March 24, 2022, NYK released the updated NYK Group ESG Story 2022, which introduces initiatives for integrating ESG into the Group’s management strategies set forth in the "NYK Group ESG Story" and provides a partial explanation of the Group’s sustainable growth strategy from a long-term perspective.
In addition, NYK has launched its new "NYK GREEN EARTH" brand to emphasize NYK's ESG efforts to create new value initiatives for low carbon and decarbonization through green businesses such as business related to offshore wind power generation. The NYK Group will encourage new value creation as a sustainable solution provider in order to strongly promote ESG management.
