NYK has implemented revised work-from-home measures in response to the Japanese government’s decision to extend the state-of-emergency (SOE) and expand the SOE to include eight prefectures additionally.
Affected Employees: Head office, Yokohama branch office, Nagoya branch office, Kansai branch office and Kyushu branch office employees (adding Nagoya branch office)
Period: August 27, 2021, to September 12, 2021
<Main points of measures>
・The company has ordered all staff to work from home during this period with the exception of special cases.
・Domestic and overseas business trips are to be avoided.
・Meetings with customers: Face-to-face meetings will be prohibited and replaced by online meetings as much as possible utilizing applications such as Microsoft Teams. We ask customers to refrain from visiting our offices with the exception of special cases.
