Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (ONE) — an integrated container shipping company jointly established by NYK, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. — is excited about welcoming the container shipping company Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) to THE Alliance. Subject to necessary approvals, service through the new partnership will start from April 2020.

THE Alliance member currently comprise ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, and Yang Ming. HMM is scheduled to receive delivery of many new large vessels, which will help THE Alliance to provide better quality and improve efficiency. The larger ships will also help to further reduce emissions.
