Hikawa Maru Welcomes Three Millionth Visitor

Hikawa Maru, which is moored in front of Yamashita Park in Yokohama, Japan, proudly welcomed its three millionth visitor on June 8. The lucky guest was a 5-year-old boy visiting the museum ship with his family. In honor of the visit, the family was presented with a ticket for a dinner cruise on Lady Crystal, an NYK yacht offering various day and evening cruises.

The boy’s father commented, “We are happy to be a part of Hikawa Maru’s long history. I hope more people will visit in the future.”

NYK will continue its efforts to deepen interest in the maritime industry and ships by providing current and future generations with a link to Japan’s maritime history through Hikawa Maru.
