NYK Report Receives Special Achievement Award at 2013 Nikkei Annual Report Awards

On February 26 at the 16th Nikkei Annual Report Awards, NYK's 2013 NYK Report received a Special Achievement Award in the Integrated Report category and was also one of the few reports rated as "excellent" among all those reviewed. The awards ceremony was held at the Nikkei Building in Tokyo and attended by NYK corporate officer Yoko Wasaki.
At the event, NYK was presented a plaque for the Special Achievement Award. The evaluation of the NYK report stressed that "the relationship between the company’s business activities and its CSR is clearly indicated as a basic policy of management, and thus creates a sense of oneness. A long-term perspective is consistent throughout the entire report." Ms. Wasaki commented, "We find this award encouraging and would like to continue our efforts to provide a more high quality report."
NYK will continue its efforts to disclose relevant information and data that benefits NYK’s stakeholders.
