G6 Alliance Announces Asia-Europe Coverage Enhancements

In response to market demand, members of the G6 Alliance today announced a service enhancement in the Asia–Europe trade.
 
NYK will continue to make every effort to improve its service quality and reliability to respond to the diversifying needs of customers.
 
(1) Additional Gothenburg call and Antwerp call
 
The Loop 7 service will be upgraded to include port calls at Gothenburg (Sweden) and Antwerp (Belgium), thereby providing improved connections between Asia and Scandinavia as well as better transit time from Antwerp to Asia.
 
Qingdao – Shanghai (Yangshan) – Hong Kong – Yantian – Singapore – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Gdansk – Gothenburg – Antwerp – Southampton – Singapore – Yantian – Qingdao 
 
Effective from the following voyage: Hyundai Drive HDV 005W29, ETA Gothenburg August 27, 2015, ETA Antwerp August 30, 2015
 
The G6 Alliance continues to offer a variety of services between Asia and Europe covering all major port pairs with weekly sailings, and will make service adjustments where necessary. The G6 Alliance also offers services on the Asia–North America and Transatlantic trade lanes.
 
The G6 Alliance members include APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and Orient Overseas Container Line.
